How much will I invest in therapy?I ask that everyone start with weekly sessions because that's what's proven to work, and in my experience it's the best way to figure out what works best for you. Routine sessions (open-ended) at 50 minutes: $230 Routine sessions (short-term 4-12 sessions) at 60 minutes: $250 One-time Intake session at 60 minutes: $250

Do you accept insurance?I am an out-of-network provider, which means that I am not in-network with any insurances, but that you may be eligible receive some reimbursement. Typically, an HMO does not offer this, but a PPO is likely to. Here is a great guide to understanding your benefits. You can also use that FSA/HSA money!

Do you have an office for seeing people in-person?I have a completely remote teletherapy practice, which means I see clients online using a secure platform. I can reach you wherever you are in California, and many of my clients find it convenient to meet with me in a private space at work, in their car, or anywhere with privacy and good internet connection/cell service.

Where are you from? What is your racial and ethnic background?I get this question a lot! Here is the complete answer: I was born and raised in New York, moved to New Jersey when I was 10 years old, and moved to California when I was 28 years old. I'm first generation Dominican/Black (Afro-Latinx) on my dad's side, and third generation Eastern European/Jewish/White on my mom's side. My dad's native language is Spanish, but I never learned to speak it.
